Most of the people who work in West Hollywood are commuting from someplace else, and most of them are getting here by car (83% driving alone or carpooling in 2011-13). The City would like more workers to commute by “alternative modes” like transit and biking. If we know where they’re commuting from, we can do a better job of encouraging them and providing realistic alternatives.
